Mrs. Popowich

This year I am taking Chemistry 8th period. My teacher is Mrs. Popowich and she is an excellent teacher. So far she has done a great job explaining lab safety rules and what to do in emergency situations. I am looking forward to learning about chemicals and how they are used and why. I am also looking forward to learning about the history of Chemistry itself. I have a great feeling that this class is going to be fun and exciting.
        I also like Mrs. Popowich's grading policy because even if I do bad on a test then I can make up for it by doing good on a lab. Throughout this year I am looking forward to measuring all kinds of substances and learning what their purpose is to the world. Also throughout the year we will be using many different types of technology in chemistry class. The technology that we will be using are scales and  balances. They will be used to measure the mass of objects and balancing things throughout the year.
        Mrs. Popowich is a very good teacher and she is very smart. She got her BS in Chemistry from Montclair State University. She then went back to Montclair to get her MA in supervision and  her MEd in Science Technology. She is also a giant Yankee fan and has two daughters and a puppy.
